Georgia Competitive Shooters defeats Columbus High School
Three time defending league champion Georgia Competitive Shooters defeated Columbus High School 2319 to 2166 last week in the National Air Rifle League Championship Tournament. Georgia Competitive Shooters advances to the semi-finals to take on Robinson High School.
Georgia competitive Shooters improved their overall record to 7 - 1 this season. In their first round game Georgia Competitive Shooters was led by, Molly Mcghin who shot a 595. The remaining contributing members were Addy Burrow, Savanna Stalnaker, Sam Burrow, and Gabriela Morrow. Georgia Competitive Shooters is from Griffin, GA, and is coached by Lisa Kelley.
Columbus High School finished the season with a 4 - 4 overall record. In their first round game Columbus High School was led by, Nicholas Chen who shot a 563. The remaining contributing members were Andrew Carey, Crystal Chen, Seok Hee Hong, and Youbin Park. Columbus High School is from Fort Benning, Ga, and is coached by SGM Frank Tuggle.
